🎉 IT’S FRIDAY, PANTHER FAMILIES! 🎉

Another week is in the books, and before we head into the weekend, we want to give a BIG Panther shoutout to the incredible teachers and staff who show up for our kids every single day!

They teach, encourage, support, problem solve, cheer our Panthers on, and somehow manage to do about 1,000 other things along the way.

This fall, the SMS PTA Hospitality Committee wants to send a little extra appreciation right back their way!

We’re collecting coffee, snacks, treats, and other goodies to help us put together occasional Coffee Fridays and Snack Carts for our amazing teachers and staff, especially during those extra busy weeks when a little pick me up can go a long way!

Applications are now open for Quantum Claw, Schimelpfenig’s FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Robotics Team for 7th and 8th graders!

Mr. Davidson will select the 2026–2027 Quantum Claw team during the first week of September.

Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid—up to 50 times stronger than he**in and 100 times stronger than morphine. It can be found in counterfeit pills, powders, and even vapes, sometimes without the person knowing it’s there.
Knowing the warning signs of an overdose and how to respond can save a life. Most importantly, remember that support is available for your student—without judgment. 💙
