Last month we got to know some down ballot candidates. This month we will learn effective ways to help the candidates of your choice win their race.

Join us Monday, August 24th at 7pm for a panel including an active volunteer, a campaign manager and a campaign consultant to learn how to become an effective volunteer.

We can't wait to see everyone at our annual summer picnic tomorrow. We ordered extra food, so if you forgot to register, please join us anyway!

We will be in the pavilion at the Columbus County Park from 6pm to 8pm. 1670 Bauman Rd.

You will have an opportunity to meet a couple of the candidates for our open State Senate seat as well as several statewide candidates running for down ballot races like State Board of Education and University Board of Regents.

Have you ever gotten to the back of the ballot and wondered who those people are? This is your chance to be informed. And did we mention there is free food?!?!?!!

Voting is our civic duty. Many of us don't realize we get to vote for the University Boards and the Michigan Board of Education let alone know who the candidates are.

The first step to making an informed decision is to get to know the candidates. So why not come to the FREE Hope Rising Picnic on July 27th and meet Bree Moggenberg for MI Board of Ed, Lena Epstein for UofM Regent and Michael Warren for Supreme Court?
