It's September 1st, which means we are officially in National Senior Center Month as recognized by the National Council on Aging! Throughout this month we will be celebrating our own seniors, highlighting the significant benefits senior centers provide for improving the lives of older adults. The theme of National Senior Center month this year is "Happier Birthdays Happen Here" in which centers like ours create the conditions for everyone to age well - advancing the vision of 100 million happier, healthier birthdays by 2040.
We like to think we have a lot to offer - from exercise classes, lectures and workshop series, special events, day trips of all varieties and more! Come check us out, and certainly, keep on eye on our page as we highlight our incredible community here in Portsmouth, NH! ⬇️
