So much fun on a beautiful evening last night on our front lawn for our Grandparent/Grandchild Foam Party with about 100 in attendance! Thank you to Sages Entertainment for the foam and tunes and Kona Ice of the Seacoast for keeping us hydrated and cool with those yummy slushes!

It's been quite busy around here. Before Memorial Day we were treated to the talented The Reminisants and as usual, they had us moving and grooving the entire time! It was a FULL HOUSE with at least 100+ fans.

A very fun stained glass class last week with Karen of Oliveteal Arts in her home studio. After a short history lesson on Louis Comfort Tiffany (which, of course, included a shout out to all the incredible women who helped craft the iconic Tiffany stained-glass windows and lamps), a demonstration on glass cutting followed by members choosing their color palette and getting to work assembling their Cherry Brooch inspired pins/magnets. They also learned how to copper foil, solder and patina 😄 they had a lot of fun!

Busy week with trips this week!

Monday had us visiting Great Rock Farm in Georgetown, MA where we typically go to see the goats, but instead enjoyed a Guided Edible Plant Walking Tour by Author Russ Cohen. The afternoon was spent walking around Newburyport for lunch and shopping. Everyone loved Russ! Goats To Go

Wednesday, we joined Royal Tours for the Eagles Experience at The Venezia and enjoyed both the great Eagles band covers and the food. We always have a great time on these day trips!

Thursday was our monthly walking and education talk with Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests at Creek Farm in Portsmouth to learn about Historic Flora in New England. Emily always has great information to share and the property is quite beautiful.

Our June Newsletter is released next week where you will find even more trips. The remainder of our large day tour trips are released to Residents starting June 1; Nonresidents starting June 8. 603.610.4433.
