🚨 First-Due Dwelling Fire | 56-03 Box area 🚨

Richland Township Fire & Rescue was dispatched for a reported porch fire, with additional reports to Bucks County 911 indicating the fire was rapidly spreading into the dwelling.

Chief 56 arrived to find fire throughout the structure and requested a tanker task force due to the rural water-supply area. Engine 56 arrived first due and deployed its deck gun while mutual-aid companies assisted with suppression and water supply.

The fire was placed under control within one hour. The scene was turned over to the Bucks County Fire Marshal's Office for investigation.

Thank you to all mutual-aid companies and emergency personnel who assisted.

This morning around 9:30am Station 56 was dispatched with Richlandtown Fire Co. for a reported 2 vehicle accident at Richlandtown Pike & California Road. We would like to extend our congratulations to Firefighter David Gerhart on successfully completing the Firefighter I program at Bucks County Community College. Over the past several months, David has dedicated himself to completing over 200 hours of rigorous training while concurrently participating in 100% of our weekly in-house training sessions and responding to emergency calls. Notably, David is the third member of our team to achieve this distinction within a year!
