After years of planning, the two-story mural at 114 N. Sixth Street has officially come to life! Created by Quincy artist Jaycie Womack Spake, the mural brings together bold artwork and Quincy-inspired imagery, including Quincy lettering, an outline of Illinois with a heart marking the city’s location, violets, and dogwood flowers. ❤️🎨

Public art helps transform ordinary spaces into destinations, and this mural is another colorful piece of Quincy’s growing story.

Last night, we hosted a Quincy Concierge event at Quincy Country Club. Newcomers had the opportunity to learn more about Quincy Country Club while enjoying good food, great drinks, fun games, and even better company. It was a wonderful evening to meet new people, make connections, and discover more of what our community has to offer.

GREDF is proud to partner with John Wood Community College and the Tracy Family Foundation to bring the rootEd Alliance model to Illinois, helping students turn their interests into real plans for life after high school.

The program is already making an impact at Southeastern, Payson Seymour, Unity and Griggsville-Perry, with plans to expand to additional area high schools this fall.

For regional employers, this means building connections with the next generation of talent through job shadows, internships and meaningful career experiences.
