It's Election Day!!

There's power in your vote!

Your vote shapes the future of our community in more ways than you may realize.

From Governor, U.S. Senator, U.S. House Representative, State Senator to State House Representative- these elected leaders make decisions that can affect education, healthcare, transportation, public safety, civil rights, and funding for local communities.

Closer to home positions like County Executive, Township Trustee, Park Commissioner, and Precinct Delegate help influence our local services, parks and neighborhoods.

August 4, 2026 is our upcoming voting day!

Decisions made at the local, state and federal levels affect our neighborhoods, parks, public safety, schools, services, infrastructure, and the quality of life for the people we love. Your vote helps determine the direction of our township today and for generations to come.

Every voice matters. Every perspective has value. Our Township is strongest when residents from all backgrounds, experiences, and viewpoints participate in this process with respect and purpose.

This August, make a plan to vote. Encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to do the same. Let's build a stronger, more engaged community where we all thrive.

Juneteenth is a federal holiday which commemorates June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas learned of their freedom through General Order No. 3, delivered by Union Major General Gordon Granger.
Juneteenth is an excellent reason for expanding our knowledge of the African American culture by reading, listening to podcasts or going to a local celebration. Please join us in recognizing this very important day in history.
