This is why we do what we do…
A student we served through Fulton County JCAP stopped by today. I’d like to say I was surprised to see him, but honestly, I wasn’t. There was never much doubt in my mind that he would succeed. He was an amazing student and a member of last year’s graduating class.
At the time, there were a lot of uncertainties about what his next chapter would look like after Fulton County. He was hopeful and determined, but none of us knew exactly what the future held.
When I presented him with his diploma at last year’s JCAP graduation, he asked me to “hold on to it for me because one day I’ll come pick it up.”
Today was that day. 🥳
Seeing him walk through our doors, knowing what he has overcome and that he is continuing to move forward, was a pretty special moment.
We’re incredibly proud of him and excited to see where his next endeavor takes him.
Sometimes, success isn’t just about earning a diploma. It’s about having someone believe in you long enough for you to believe in yourself. Keep grinding, Cary! 💪
