Pride Month is about more than celebration—it's about recognizing the courage it takes to live authentically and the importance of building communities where everyone feels they belong. As we raise the Pride flag, we reaffirm our commitment to a Montgomery County where every person is valued, respected, and free to be exactly who they are.

Had a wonderful time with the Clarksburg Seniors celebrating their 51st anniversary! So grateful to have a warm, lively afternoon of bingo, and great conversation honoring the longest tenured senior social group that has served older adults for 5+ decades.

I am sick and heartbroken at the horrific Islamophobic attack at the San Diego Islamic Center. There should be no safer spaces than our schools and places of worship.

We must continue to do everything in our power to condemn acts of hate and violence and to protect our religious institutions and educational centers.

Three men were killed outside the Islamic Center of San Diego in an apparent hate crime, and police later found two teenage suspected gunmen dead in a vehicle.

I respectfully voted no on today's budget which included tax increases and a nearly $300 million structural imbalance.

We simply can’t make Montgomery County more affordable if we continue to make it more expensive. And we can’t address our fiscal and economic challenges if we continue to make them worse.
