Tomorrow, June 2nd, is Election Day.
In a nation founded on freedom and self-government, voting is both a privilege and a responsibility. It is our opportunity to have a voice in the future of our communities, our state, and the values that guide our lives.
New Mexicans care deeply about faith, family, freedom, personal responsibility, safe communities, quality education, and opportunities for future generations. Regardless of where we come from, we all share a desire to leave a better New Mexico for our children and grandchildren.
Every election is important because every vote represents a voice. When citizens participate, our communities become stronger and our government becomes more representative of the people it serves.
Tomorrow, I strongly encourage you to take a few minutes to go to the polls and make your voice heard. Bring a friend, encourage a family member, and remind your neighbors to vote as well.
As citizens, we have been blessed with the ability to help shape the future through the ballot box. Let us not take that opportunity for granted.
"Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on." — Ronald Reagan
Tomorrow, vote for the future you believe in.
See you at the polls.
