A successful production is built by an incredible team, both on set and throughout the community. 🎬

Last week, we visited the set of Gold Mountain in Amador County to connect with the people helping bring this production to life.

Alongside Amador County Film Liaison Russ Hoffman, Location Manager Doug Dresser, and members of Teamsters Local 399, the conversation centered on the impact film and television productions have on local jobs, businesses, and communities, and why it's so important to continue advocating for California's film incentive program.

Every production strengthens our local creative economy and helps keep California rolling.

Hayhoe Studios’ new film FATHER makes its world premiere tonight at the Harris Center for the Arts, kicking off the inaugural Golden Bear Film Festival.

The Sacramento-supported production follows a man who, after losing his father, must begin the difficult journey of finding himself.
