Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 5 PM PDT Monday for portions of the Sacramento Valley and northern foothills.

Expect breezy north to northeast winds this afternoon, before north winds strengthen tonight into Monday with gusts 20-30 mph. The strongest winds are expected along the I-5 corridor. These winds, combined with low humidity, will result in Critical Fire Weather conditions. Be sure to practice fire weather safety the next few days!

A Red Flag Warning is in effect from 11 AM today through 11 AM Monday (Sept 12-14).

Breezy south to southwest winds will increase late this morning and peak in the afternoon, with expected gusts around 20-35 mph. This will be followed by breezy north to northeast winds Sunday through Monday.

These winds, combined with low relative humidity, will create fire weather concerns across the Sacramento Valley and northern foothills today through Monday morning.
