Join MN NEAT, Minnesota DHS, and our guest presenters for an engaging webinar focused on Assistive Technology (AT) for students and learners. This session will explore best practices for identifying, evaluating, and implementing technology solutions that support student success across educational settings. Participants will gain practical strategies for considering Assistive Technology throughout the educational journey, from assessment and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development to transition planning for life beyond school.

Our presenters bring expertise from multiple perspectives in educational Assistive Technology. Experienced AT specialists will share practical approaches to conducting assessments through an Assistive Technology lens, real-world examples of identifying technology solutions that meet the unique needs of learners, and key considerations for supporting students throughout their educational journey. Participants will also be introduced to a newly developed planning tool designed to help IEP teams identify and consider appropriate Assistive Technology throughout the IEP process.

The webinar will conclude with a 30-minute "Ask the Expert" session, where attendees can engage directly with the presenters and other Assistive Technology specialists, ask questions, and discuss real-world scenarios in an interactive format.
