SHSAA grant monies are doing great things for our classrooms and school programs! We are excited to assist and provide additional funds for positive initiatives like this! ❤️🖤

Congratulations to Madison and Peyton, the winners of our Red Ribbon Week T-shirt design contest!

Mrs. Harding's and Miss Gilbert's Health and PE students participated in the contest as part of their drug addiction unit.

T-shirts were purchased using district wellness funds and a Salem High School Alumni Association Classroom Grant!

Students who participate in the Red Ribbon Week festivities will have a chance to win these free T-shirts!

SHSAA gives many scholarships, but did you know this? After adapting the organization’s mission several years ago to “foster student and alumni development”, the alumni association awards grants to Salem classrooms!
Today SHSAA announces that FORTY K-12 classrooms are receiving $15,966.74 for extra supplemental educational materials requested by our Salem teachers! SHSAA sponsored a free raffle during last week’s Homecoming game and during the Quakerfest Open House the next day. Our two lucky winners of a Quaker football and a six pack of Quaker Sam soda are Becky McGuire Smith, SHS Class of 1986, and Tony Maniscalco, SHS Class of 2016! Thanks to Frank Bezon, SHS Class of 1986 for the donation of the football and the Quaker Sam soda is from Kast Iron Soda whose co-owner is Lesley Marroulis Kline, SHS Class of 1990. Kudos to all these Salem alumni! We Love Those Quakers! ❤️🖤

We thank Christine Galchick Whitacre from the SHS Class of 1976 for donating three of her beautiful pieces of artwork to SHSAA’s Alumni Art Wall ! Stop in tomorrow anytime from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm during the Quakerfest, or Monday through Friday, 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. to see her paintings and all the others from our amazingly talented alumni! ❤️🖤
