To ensure public safety and facilitate firefighting efforts, SR-1 will close tomorrow effective at 1:00 PM at the following locations:

📍 Northside: one mile south of Old Coast Road (MM50.1)
📍 Southside: one-half mile south of Deetjens Big Sur Inn (MM42.6)

As more evacuation orders have been reduced to warnings, the SR 1 closure has been reduced and adjusted on the Northside to the following location:

📍 Northside: 1/2 mile south of Deetjens Big Sur Inn, mile post marker 42.6
Southside closure remains the same.
