VIA began providing public transportation service in the San Antonio area in March 1978. We are funded by a one-half cent sales tax levied in San Antonio and seven other incorporated municipalities. In addition, VIA receives one-eighth cent sales tax levied in San Antonio by the Advanced Transportation District. VIA provides the following services in our community:
Bus service including downtown circulator service
Paratransit service for riders with disabilities
Vanpool service for commuters
Special event park & ride service

VIA headquarters are located on 123 N. VIA is governed by a Board of Trustees.

If voters vote AGAINST, VIA service will continue in Converse.

If voters vote FOR, VIA service will be discontinued in Converse 🚫
- VIA Bus service discontinued.
- VIAtrans service discontinued.
- VIA Link service discontinued.

VIA buses, paratransit and on-demand services connect residents to jobs, schools, healthcare and other destinations.

Sept. 26 – Colorado State
Oct. 8 – South Florida
Oct. 17 – Navy
Nov. 14 – North Texas
Nov. 27 or 28 – Tulsa

Students with an active U-Pass can use it for Park & Ride service and ride fare-free to every game.
