A beautiful new symbol of Filipino culture is shining in the heart of San Francisco! ☀️🇵🇭

“Philippine Sun (13°N, 122°E)” by Filipino artist collective Mumu, now illuminates Yerba Buena Gardens, celebrating Filipino identity, community, and resilience, sharing the Philippine's real-time sunrise and sunset with our City.

This project is also a great example of what’s possible when community, arts, and local investment come together. This project was brought to life through a collaboration between Yerba Buena Partnership and SOMA Pilipinas Filipino Cultural Heritage District, with funding from Yerba Buena Partnership and OEWD.
