Ride Public Transportation or “Active” transportation for 9 to 5 Day to honor Dolly Parton

Paul Wells here. D10 Rep till we were “doged” as a committee. In my over 12 years of service, my main goal was public safety. For bicyclists, pedestrians, all forms of transit. I still see a need for a committee in its place. Not in a two wheels vs four agenda. Support wise choices that protect children, seniors, the disabled. For all. We held the departments, SFBC and other stakeholders accountable. Helmets are required for motorcycle riders. They should for anyone wheeling around the streets.

What is missing from the debates surrounding e-bike freedoms and regulation is the focus on the injuries that happen when kids crash their bikes.

The last meeting was held on Wednesday night. A long history of public service for the City and County of San Francisco - Government ended.

We may have had our last committee meeting on Tuesday 6/17 at SF City Hall as part of the City and County of San Francisco - Government. But we all represented our community according to the 11 BOS districts. We may have to delete this account by June 29th, so on a positive note as our advocacy has always been. Thank you to all who served and all the agencies who reported to our committee over the years. Be safe out there!
