🇺🇦🇪🇺 Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha welcomed the unanimous approval by all 27 EU Member States of the European Union’s Position on Negotiation Cluster 1 for Ukraine at today’s COREPER meeting.

💬 “I am grateful to the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU, the European Commission, and all EU Member States for their leadership, unity, and continued support for Ukraine’s EU accession.

This decision recognizes Ukraine’s reform efforts and demonstrates the EU’s commitment to a credible and merit-based enlargement process.

We now look ahead to the Intergovernmental Conference in Luxembourg on June 15, where Cluster 1 is expected to be formally opened for Ukraine. We remain focused on delivering reforms and advancing the accession process at a steady pace.

Together, we are bringing the reunification of Europe closer and building a stronger, more secure, and more united European future”, the Minister stressed.

Today, Ukraine’s embassies and consulates around the world observe a Day of Mourning in memory of the victims of Russia’s latest brutal attack on Ukraine. Flags are flying at half-mast as we honor the lives lost and stand in solidarity with the families affected.
Yesterday alone, Russia killed 23 people, including children, in a massive attack involving hundreds of drones and missiles. These strikes are not isolated incidents but part of Russia’s ongoing campaign of terror against Ukrainian civilians.
Eternal memory to the victims. Our thoughts are with their loved ones.

On days like this, the anger must be transformed into tangible support 🦾🇺🇦

🇺🇦 Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine together with United24 fundraising platform founded by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, have launched a fundraiser for lifesaving ground robots, designed to protect and assist people on the front lines.

More details: Donate here: https://link.u24.gov.ua/r/allies-of-steel/sf

These unmanned systems can evacuate the wounded, provide logistics support, and take on the riskiest missions. Among these ground robots are models like the TARGAN 300, VOLIA E, TERMIT, ARDAL 920, RATEL H, ZMIY, BRO-1409, THOR 1000/800, and TESLIA.

This fundraiser is not time-limited, as Ukraine requires robots on the battlefield constantly.

We aim to raise funds for as many robots as possible, to save as many lives as we can.
Join in.

During the night of June 2, Russia carried out another massive attack against Ukraine, targeting civilian areas in multiple regions of the country.

In Kyiv, at least four people were killed and 58 injured, including three children. Residential buildings and civilian infrastructure sustained significant damage in several districts of the city. One of the strikes hit a nine-storey apartment building, causing the partial collapse of the upper floors. Rescue teams remain at the scene as people may still be trapped under the debris.

The Dnipro region also suffered heavy casualties. In Dnipro and Kamianske, Russian strikes on residential neighbourhoods killed seven people and injured 35 others, including three children. During emergency response efforts after the first attack, Russia launched another strike that killed a rescuer. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.

In the Kharkiv region, at least 14 people, including a child, were injured. Residential properties and civilian infrastructure were damaged in several communities.
In the Chernihiv region, a 15-year-old boy was wounded. Russian attacks damaged private homes, school facilities and warehouse buildings.

These attacks once again demonstrate that Russia continues its campaign of terror against Ukraine’s civilian population. Strengthening sanctions pressure, increasing support for Ukraine’s air defence capabilities, and maintaining international unity remain essential to protecting lives and holding the aggressor accountable.

Kyiv is a city where centuries coexist side by side.

Ancient gates, cathedrals, monasteries, historic districts, and squares preserve the memory of the people and events that shaped Ukraine’s capital across generations.

This Kyiv Day, we’re sharing six places that tell the story of a city that has changed, resisted, and continued to live through more than a millennium 💙💛

Russia’s losses in its war against Ukraine have already exceeded 1.3 million killed and wounded. For any normal country, such figures would be a political shock and a reason to reassess. But not for Russia. No level of casualties seems to act as a limit for the Kremlin, which continues to disregard human life.

This is why the world cannot wait for Russia to stop on its own. It must be forced to stop. Only strong, united international actions – political, military, and economic – can change its course. Over more than four years of its full-scale war, Russia has failed to achieve any of its strategic objectives. It is time to increase pressure on Russia to stop its aggression.
