Canopy Thrift™ will be closed tomorrow, August 31, while our team resets the store for fall.

We will be busy filling the racks with thousands of fresh fall arrivals before reopening for our Fall Reveal on Tuesday, September 1. We cannot wait for you to see what is coming!

The CAC Annual Gala, Bringing Community Together for Change, is coming up September 19, and there’s more than one way to be part of the fun!

Enter our Ultimate European City Experience Raffle for the chance to enjoy a four-night stay at a 4-star hotel in the European city of your choice, plus a $500 travel credit.

Raffle tickets are $50 each or 5 for $200. Anyone can enter, whether or not you’re attending the Gala. Plus, purchasing a raffle ticket gives you access to our Gala silent auction, so you can bid on some great items even if you can’t be there in person!

The raffle drawing will take place at the Gala on September 19.

Labor Day weekend is coming up! A quick heads-up that all CAC locations will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of the holiday.

Labor Day is a time to recognize the hard work and contributions of people across our country. At CAC, it’s also a reminder of how meaningful access to opportunity and stability can be for individuals and families in our community.

Please plan ahead if you’ll need to visit CAC before the long weekend. We’ll reopen Tuesday, September 8, with regular hours.

Canopy Thrift™ needs your help! We’re running very low on linens and could really use a closet cleanout from our community.

Right now, we’re especially looking for:

• Bath towels
• Queen sheets
• Comforters and blankets of any size
• King pillowcases, preferably sets of 2

If you have any of these items in good condition that you’re ready to part with, we’d be so grateful for your donations. Every donation helps keep Canopy stocked while supporting CAC programs for our neighbors in need.

And while you’re dropping off, come inside and shop! Our Semi-Annual Sale is going on now with 50% OFF through Wednesday. Clear out a few things at home and find a few new-to-you favorites while you’re here!

Our food pantry shelves are running very low, and we need your help restocking them!

CAC’s Mini-Market serves more than 1000 local families each month, and many visit weekly. Right now, we especially need:

Canned corn
Canned potatoes
Canned assorted vegetables
Canned fruit
Canned meats, including tuna and chicken
Canned pasta
Ramen

Here are three easy ways to help:

1. Drop off food at the CAC Food Pantry at 8607 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.

We’re kicking off our new Employer Spotlight Series at the CAC Empowerment Center on August 5 with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office!

Interested in a career in public safety? Join us to explore available positions, learn about day-to-day responsibilities, qualifications, and the application process, and get your questions answered by representatives. In-person attendees are encouraged to bring a resume and will have the opportunity to apply on-site.
