Our office is proud to partner with The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools to help support local students through a backpack collection drive!
All of our branch locations will serve as drop-off sites for anyone who would like to donate a backpack. We are collecting backpacks for all ages, from Pre-K through 12th grade, now through Wednesday, July 8th.
By working together, we can help students in our community start the school year prepared and confident. Thank you for helping us give back to our community! 💙🎒

As part of our continued efforts to provide efficient customer service while maintaining responsible use of taxpayer dollars, the Seminole County Tax Collector’s Office would like to share an update regarding the Oviedo location.

The Oviedo location will reopen as a private tag agency, continuing to provide convenient access to motor vehicle services for the community.

Residents may also continue utilizing our nearby Winter Springs office, located approximately 6 miles away, as well as our online services for driver license renewals, registration renewals, and tax payments.

🚨Reminder: Friday, May 29, 2026, is the last day to pay delinquent 2025 tax year property taxes and avoid a tax certificate sale.

Payment for delinquent 2025 property taxes (certified funds only) must be RECEIVED by the Tax Collector’s Office no later than 5:00 PM EST on May 29, 2026. Payments may be made by mail, online, or in person. **Please plan accordingly to ensure your payment is received on time.

All of our offices are currently experiencing higher-than-normal wait times due to statewide FLHSMV system issues. The department is actively working to troubleshoot and resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
