This morning, David had the opportunity to speak to the Sanford Chamber of Commerce about Amendment 3 and what it could mean for Florida property owners.

Thank you to the Sanford Chamber for the opportunity to be part of this great event and to everyone who joined us for the discussion. We appreciate the chance to connect with our local business community and provide information on issues that matter to Seminole County residents.

Our SCPA team truly outdid themselves this year!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our staff, we collected a record amount of school supplies for Tools 4 Schools. In addition to filling donation bins, our employees also contributed money to help purchase even more supplies for local classrooms.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped give Seminole County students and teachers a stronger start to the school year!

One misconception we hear is that the Property Appraiser sets property tax rates.

Here's the difference:

✔️ The Property Appraiser determines your property's taxable value and administers exemptions.

✔️ Taxing Authorities, such as the County, School Board, cities, and special districts, adopt budgets and set the millage (tax) rates during public hearings.

✔️ The Tax Collector prepares and collects your tax bill.

Understanding each office's role can help make your TRIM Notice and property tax bill easier to understand.
