🚨 Life Saving Award Recognition 🚨

We recently recognized the outstanding efforts of Engine 23, Rescue 23, and Tower 25’s C Shift for their actions that made a life-saving difference. What makes this call unique is the fact that Engine 23 attached themselves, in addition to Tower 25, providing additional personnel to assist on scene, ensuring every possible measure was taken for the patient. Because of their dedication and quick response from all units, there was a positive outcome for the patient. Early CPR by the family of the patient was also used.

👏 Congratulations to all involved—your hard work does not go unnoticed.

🚑🩺Training Tuesday🩺🚑
This past week, our 26-01 recruits sharpened their EMS life-saving skills—as upwards of 84% of calls are EMS related. From patient assessments to critical interventions, these recruits got hands-on experience perfecting those skills for the real world.
Recruits also took on the challenge of rappelling, pushing past their comfort zones and strengthening both their technical skills and mental toughness. 🧠
From the ground to the rope, Class 26-01 continues to rise to the challenge.💪

In observance of Memorial Day, the United States flag is flown at half-staff until noon as a visible sign of mourning and remembrance for the men and women who gave their lives while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. This tradition honors those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation and our freedoms.
At noon, the flag is raised to full staff, symbolizing the nation’s resolve to carry on in the face of loss and to never forget those who died in service to our country.
Today, we honor and express our deepest gratitude to the fallen heroes who laid down their lives for our freedom. 🇺🇸
