King County has opened the application period for $2.7 million in community‑led grants through the Elevate Skyway Community Fund and the Uplift White Center Community Fund. Eligible organizations and community groups are encouraged to apply for funding to support projects and programs that benefit residents in the unincorporated areas of Skyway/West Hill and White Center/North Highline.
Applications are due no later than October 11 at 11:59 p.m. Learn more at kingcounty.gov/local-services/PB
These grant opportunities are part of King County’s Participatory Budgeting program, a community‑designed process that centers lived experience, racial equity, transparency, and trust. Funding priorities and the 2026 grantmaking process was shaped by a Community Advisory Board, and community members will review and score all eligible proposals.
