📚✏️Help us set students up for success this school year!

The Sebastian Police Department will be hosting a School Supplies Drive on July 17–18 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Walmart, 2001 U.S. Hwy 1. We are collecting school supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, pencils, paper, crayons, calculators, scissors, and more to help local students start the year prepared and confident.

All donated supplies will be distributed during our Back to School Fun Day on July 31, 2026. Thank you for supporting the children and families in our community! 💙🖍️🎒

During National Police Week, we are proud to recognize and celebrate the dedicated officers who serve the Sebastian community each and every day.💙

This week, we are hosting two officer appreciation cookouts to thank our officers for their hard work, sacrifice, and commitment to keeping our community safe.

A special thank you to Walmart, Publix, Hen House, and Big Shots for their generous donations of food and support for the Sebastian Police Department. Your kindness helped make these events possible, and we truly appreciate our community partners who continue to stand behind our agency and our officers.

This morning, members of the Sebastian Police Department attended the Wreath Placement Ceremony hosted by the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office to honor the brave law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

During National Police Week, we take time to remember those heroes whose lives were dedicated to protecting others. Today, we especially honor two of our own from Indian River County — Corporal Richard Raczkoski and Sergeant Terri Sweeting-Mashkow. Their service, courage, and selflessness left a lasting impact on this community, and their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Behind every badge is a person who chose a life of service, and behind every fallen officer is a family, a department, and a community that continues to carry their memory forward. Today and every day, we remember Corporal Raczkoski and Sergeant Sweeting-Mashkow and honor the legacy they left behind.💙
