October is domestic violence awareness month. These purple flags each represent and honor a person killed in Massachusetts this year by an intimate partner. So far this year, sadly, there are 19. They will be displayed at the Sharon Police Department and outside Sharon Town Hall. Please take the time to visit. They are placed by H.U.G.S. (Help us get safe) Sharon, a local non profit.
