Shoals CASA Shoals CASA supports and promotes court appointed special advocates. CASA volunteers are an investigative tool for juvenile dependency court cases.

Shoals CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) is committed to promoting awareness of child abuse and neglect within the Shoals area. We work diligently to provide trained volunteers to advocate for the best interest of children within the judicial system. CASA programs assist the juvenile/family court in carrying out its role in the child protective services system. Often being the "eyes and ears of the court". CASA is the only volunteer organization that empowers everyday citizens as officers of the court. In an overburdened social welfare system, abused and neglected children often slip through the cracks among hundreds of current cases. Each volunteer cares for 1-2 cases at a time to ensure that each child is receiving the attention they deserve. Contact us today to find out how you can volunteer!

SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT – SHOALS ELECTRIC COMPANY!

Today, we want to send a very special THANK YOU to Frankie Tubbs and Shoals Electric Company for their continued support of Shoals CASA and our Rogersville Gives Back Fall Festival!

Shoals Electric has been a longtime supporter of our organization, and that kind of continued commitment means so much to us. It's one thing to support a cause once, but it's something truly special when a local business continues to show up year after year for the children in our community. ❤️

Located at 704 Davison Avenue in Muscle Shoals, Shoals Electric Company is an industrial and commercial electrical contractor serving our area.

Frankie, thank you for your generosity and for continuing to believe in the work we do! Your support helps us provide Christmas gifts and year-round assistance to local children in foster care.

We encourage everyone to support the businesses that give back to our community!

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO BILL & KELLY LYONS!

Today, we want to recognize and thank Bill and Kelly Lyons for their continued love and support of Shoals CASA and our Rogersville Gives Back Fall Festival!

Kelly holds a special place in our CASA family, having previously served as a CASA Advocate. One thing I love about CASA is that even when someone's time as an advocate comes to an end, their heart for helping children doesn't have to.

Kelly is a wonderful example of that! She continues to find ways to give back and make a difference, and with Bill by her side, they continue to support the children we serve. ❤️

Bill and Kelly, thank you for your generosity, your friendship, and for continuing to be part of our CASA family!

It's people like you who remind us that making a difference isn't always about the role we hold, but the heart we have for helping others.

Leaving the Colbert County Courthouse today, and this stack of hundreds of pages represents just ONE case. NINE children. ONE family. ❤️

Behind every page is a piece of someone's story. Behind every report are real children, real struggles, difficult decisions, and lives that will forever be impacted by what happens in that courtroom.

Sometimes people don't realize just how complicated child welfare cases can be. It's not always black and white. There are layers of trauma, generations of challenges, and circumstances that cannot be summed up in a few pages.

And while this stack of paperwork may seem overwhelming, I remind myself that these aren't just case files. These are children's lives.

Every child deserves to be seen, heard, protected, and given the opportunity for a safe, loving, and permanent home.

This is why we do what we do at Shoals CASA. We advocate for children, one case, one family, and one child at a time.

Because behind every case number is a child who matters. 💙
