Thank you to our CPA firm, RBSK Partners. During tax season their employees have the opportunity to dress casual on Fridays if they put money in a jar. Sunshine House was chosen to be given the proceeds this year. Thank you so much for your continued support of our mission and organization RBSK!

Did you know….every Thursday Linne’s donates donuts to Sunshine House? Our guests love this treat. Thank you Linne’s for loving our community in this way.

Last week at our Red Barn Center there was summertime fun with grilling by one of our guests, a birthday celebration for another guests and games played.
Many thanks to Rupert’s for coffee and snack donations that our guests appreciate so much!

A poem one of our Sunshine House family wrote:

8 hours

For 8 hours a week someone knows my name.
Just 8 hours and I'll never be the same.

For 8 hours a week I have a safe place.
To rest, eat, connect and to be shown grace.

For 8 hours a week I get to be free.
Of my past, my problems. I can just be me.

For 8 hours a week there are people who care. I can cry. I can talk. I can share.

For 8 hours a week I feel loved and whole.
I love the Center with ALL my heart and soul!
