Ernie Klimek has been busy since late summer training our first WorkEx graduates, who recently graduated from the program. WorkEx is the Thurston County Chamber and PACMTN liaison to the Department of War (DoW) Skilbridge program. The lead for the program is Andrew Garate.

This program allows service members to try civilian jobs the last 6 months of enlistment with costs covered by the DoW. The students are now eligible to test for their WDM 1 as an Operator-in- Training. One student has found employment with a utility and the second is well versed in Cyber Security and looking to land a position.

Job well done guys! Congratulations! 👏👏👏

What if the tap ran dry? A day without water is a day without:

🚿 A morning shower to start the day
🥗 Fresh produce that fuels us
🏞️ Parks and green spaces that restore us

Water is the foundation of public health, economic development, and community well-being and we play an integral role in protecting water’s future.

On October 15, challenges us to rethink the role of water in our personal lives and professional ecosystems. We’re proud to shine a light on why water is invaluable and why it urgently needs investment.
