🚒🚨 Congratulations to Two of Our Newer Members! 🚨🚒
We at the 59 House would like to congratulate two of our newer members, Steve Whiskeymen and Gavin Laudenslager, on successfully passing and graduating from Basic Fire Academy / Firefighter I earlier last month.
This achievement is no small task. As volunteers, Steve and Gavin dedicated themselves to completing more than 220 hours of firefighter training, mastering a wide range of firefighting skills and tasks. Their commitment included two week night classes, numerous evenings and weekends, all spread over a demanding six-month period.
Their hard work, dedication, and perseverance have paid off, and we couldn't be more proud to have them representing the 59 House.
Strong work, men! Well deserved! 👏🚒💪

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our Dine & Donate fundraiser! Special thanks to Castillo’s Restaurant and Pizza Pub for hosting and supporting our cause, and to our amazing local community for your generosity and encouragement. Your support truly makes a difference, and we are so grateful for everyone who participated and helped make the event a success!

At 6:56am Rescue 59 and Rescue 26 were dispatched on Box 59-02 to a report of one vehicle on its driver side, with the driver unable to exit the vehicle. Upon arrival, Chief 59 advised the Rescue to provide a ladder for the patient to self exit the vehicle, and was evaluated by Medic 159 on-scene as well. With no critical extrication needed, the call was held to 59 units. Chief 59 and Rescue 59 crews stayed on-scene to assist in minor vehicle fluid and debris clean up. Multiple Hilltown Police were on scene as well for traffic control and scene safety. Well executed call by all parties involved.

This past Friday May 1st, the 59 house was invited to attend April Showers Rain Rally at the Pennridge High-school along side several other of our neighboring fire companies. It’s a wonderful fundraising event for Special Olympics Pennsylvania. Silverdale FC appreciate being able to come along our local brothers and sisters in the fire service, for an event such as this. Little chilly for recreational water play, but smiles and laughter were a plenty!! 🚒❤️‍🔥🫶

Little behind on social media posts. Last week, Silverdale Fire Company wrapped up a month-long training focused on proper victim location within a structure, along with coordinated fire suppression techniques.
The final evolution took place at the Upper Bucks Training Facility, where crews brought everything together under live fire conditions with live personnel.
A special thank you to the officers from Station 58 Trumbauersville Fire Company for managing and maintaining realistic fire conditions and serving as our live victims. Their support allowed our members to stay fully focused on the training objectives and ex*****on.
Strong teamwork and dedication all around.
