Slatedale Fire Department Our fire department is staffed solely by volunteers. We utilize 7 pieces of apparatus to fulfill our duties to the community.

Located in the northern end of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, we have been providing fire suppression and rescue services to the residents of Washington Township, since 1906. Our command staff consists of 1 Chief, 1 Deputy Chief, 1 Assistant Chief, 1 Captain, 1 Lieutenant 1 Fire Police Captain, 1 Fire Police Lieutenant

We operate out of 1 station, constructed in 1958. Our apparatus consists of a 2

012 Ferrara Pumper, a 1986 Mack Tanker, a 1998 Central/HME Aerial, a 2017 Chevy 3500 Brush Truck, a 2006 Yamaha ATV and a 2016 Polaris 6x6 ATV and a 1970 kaiser/jeep 2.5t truck. We train/practice every Wednesday at 1830 (630pm)

We invite you to participate in our May FUNdraiser, which aims to support the daily operational costs of the 🚒 Slatedale Fire Company🚒.

By donating $5 to Slatedale Fire Company 🚒, you will receive a 15% off Boscov’s Shopping 🛒🛍️Pass. This pass can be used to shop 🛍️ anytime between Saturday, May 23 and Monday, May 25, 2026, allowing you to enjoy extra savings.

Please contact Tammy at 610-760-9507 or Michelle at 610-760-9652 to obtain your shopping pass. You can also pick up your Shopping Passes at the Fire company (3922 Main St, Slatedale) on Wednesdays from 6:30-8 pm. Shopping Passes will also available at our Mother’s Day Dinner on May 10th.

If anyone would like to give any donations, we are looking for non perishables.
Water
Liquid IV
Gatorade
Crackers in individual bags
Cookies in individual bags
Chips in individual bags
And any other items that can be carried on the fire line.
You may drop off at Emerald fire department. Dan will be there to accept any and all donations and will send it to the fire line. Please do not go to the fire scene as it is not safe for the public.
