Fayette Cares is a 501(c)3 non profit charitable organization empowering those in need with solutions to end homelessness, break the cycle of domestic violence, and create stability and self-sufficiency from crisis. Help us celebrate an exciting accomplishment by Fayette Cares board member Arcinko Kirkland, Principal of LaGrange Moscow Elementary School!

Arcinko and the LMES Energy Team were awarded a remarkable $25,000 grant through the TVA EnergyRight’s School Uplift Program in partnership with Chickasaw Electric Cooperative in recognition of their outstanding leadership and innovation in energy education and conservation efforts.

The student-led team earned this honor through their work leading energy awareness campaigns, conducting a school-wide energy audit, educating fellow students, and engaging the broader community in meaningful and impactful ways. Their dedication to service, stewardship, and leadership reflects the very values we strive to uphold at Fayette Cares.

We are incredibly proud of Arcinko’s leadership and the positive example being set for students and our community alike. Please join me in congratulating Arcinko and the entire LMES Energy Team on this well-deserved recognition!

This Mother’s Day, we honor the extraordinary women we see every day at Fayette Cares: mothers who sacrifice, persevere, and carry overwhelming burdens out of love for their children.

We see mothers working tirelessly to rebuild after crisis. Mothers escaping abuse with nothing but courage and hope. Mothers stretching every dollar, every ounce of energy, and every bit of strength to clothe, house, and feed their children.

Every day, we witness incredible resilience from women fighting to rebuild their lives and create brighter futures for their families. They are the heroes. We are simply honored to walk alongside them.
