Announced this week, the new $26 million state-of-the-art Aquatic Center combines a 28,000-square-foot addition with a 10,000-square-foot facility renovation, with the groundbreaking set for Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 4PM. 🪏

Here is what is coming to Southfield:
🔹 4,900-square-foot leisure pool with zero-depth entry and interactive water features.
🔹splash pad with ground jets, bubblers and double kiddie racer slides.
🔹 lazy river with spray features and a conversation cove.
🔹indoor/outdoor water slide that loops outside the building and back in.
🔹 four-lane, 75-foot lap pool with starting blocks.
🔹 therapeutic pool for water aerobics and low-impact exercises.
🔹 new locker rooms, a community event space and a wet classroom for swim lessons.
