🥇 Please join us in congratulating Public Safety Officer Nicholas Pointer! 🥇

This past weekend, Officer Pointer represented the Village of Beverly Hills on the national stage at the 2026 United States Police & Fire Championships in San Diego, an Olympic-style competition that draws thousands of police officers, firefighters, and first responders from across the country, and brought home FIVE gold medals, in 100 FR, 100 IM, 50FR, 50BR, and 50BK

We’re proud to have him serving our community with that same dedication on and off duty. Way to go, Officer Pointer! 👏

⚠️Deer Safety Advisory⚠️

Reports that a deceased fawn has been located in the area of 18000 block of Dunblaine between Riverside and Southfield. The mother doe may still be in the area and could exhibit defensive behaviors, including charging or bluffing. The Village’s Animal Control Officer was notified and he advised the doe’s actions are intended to scare away perceived threats and are not TYPICALLY attempts to attack. The doe is expected to move on once she recognizes the fawn is no longer alive. Animal Control will be in the area tomorrow morning (6/8), until then:

• Keep dogs on a leash
• Avoid the area if possible
• Use caution when outdoors
• Do not approach the deer

Thank you for your cooperation and awareness.

Back in December, we received a heartfelt letter and a bundle of handmade cards from a local Girl Scout troop thanking us for what we do and inviting us to be guest speakers at one of their meetings.

Today, that invitation came to life! PSO LaForte and PSO Pointer had the opportunity to meet with the Kindergarten Girl Scout Troop and speak to the girls as they worked on earning their Courageous and Strong petals.

We are grateful for the warm welcome, funny questions, and the chance to share a little about the job we do. Thank you to the troop leaders and Girl Scouts for having us ♥️
