If You Give a School Some Students… 🐾💚
They'll start by welcoming friends—new and old.
And when they see some friendly faces, they’ll probably want a few high-fives from the Kindness Squad. ✋
Once they’re inside, they’ll need to learn some new routines and expectations so they know how to learn, play, and take care of one another.
And when they know what to do, they’ll be ready to play some games, laugh together, and start building their classroom community.
Of course, they’ll want to explore the building and figure out where everything is.
Then they’ll start sharing who they are with their new classmates and teachers—and their teachers will get to share a little about themselves, too.
They’ll read some books, pose for a few first-day photos, practice mindfulness, ask questions, make connections, and learn a LOT of names.
And somewhere along the way, a group of students and staff who walked in this morning will start to feel a little more like a school community. 💚
And if you give a school a community… there’s no telling how much they’ll learn, grow, and accomplish together. 🌱
