The Spokane Scholars Foundation celebrated 165 seniors, nominated by their schools for their prowess in one of six academic categories: English, fine arts, math, science, social studies and world languages.
A big shout out to our past SPM students who were nominated as Spokane Scholars this year! Spokane Scholars Foundation honors and celebrates the academic accomplishments of the Greater Spokane area's brightest students.
The following high school students were grounded in Montessori education and we are so proud of them:
Marley Spencer (North Central High School) awarded in the category of English
Gabriella Carlsen (The Community School) awarded in the category of English
Anna Cumberland (North Central High School) awarded in the category of Science
Jace Samaha (Mead High School) awarded in the category of Music, Fine Arts
Paisley Archer (Lewis & Clark High School) awarded in the category of Art, Fine Arts
Spokane Scholars have gone on to make meaningful impacts around the world, applying their knowledge and skills to address society’s most pressing challenges. Their success exemplifies the Foundation’s mission: to affirm that scholarly achievement is a worthy pursuit at all stages of life and that lifelong learning is a reward in itself.
The Spokane Scholars Foundation celebrated 165 seniors, nominated by their schools for their prowess in one of six academic categories: English, fine arts, math, science, social studies and world languages. In each category, the winner received a scholarship worth $5,000, second place $4,000, third....
