- Comments that are off topic or do not pertain to subject matter. Comments will be removed if any of the aforementioned rules are violated. If any user continues to violate the Commenting Policy they may be temporarily or permanently blocked from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office page.

In observance of Memorial Day, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office administrative offices will be closed on Monday, May 25th.

We will take this time to honor all who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their bravery and dedication will never be forgotten.

Our deputies remain on duty, and emergency services are always available. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911.

On this Peace Officer’s Memorial Day, we honor the officers who gave their lives in service and the enduring legacy they leave behind. Their sacrifice is never forgotten, and neither are the families, friends, and colleagues who continue to carry their memory.

Recently, members of our Honor Guard traveled to the Missouri State Capitol to take part in this solemn tradition at the Missouri Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial. Their presence reflects our commitment to remembering the fallen - and to supporting those they leave behind.
