Children's Permanency Partnership

Children's Permanency Partnership CPP is a partnership of Epworth, FamilyForward & Youth In Need. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. Charles and Jefferson County.

Children's Permanency Partnership (CPP) endeavors to provide permanency and safety for children through our foster care, case management, resource development and adoption services. Since its inception in 2005, the Children’s Permanency Partnership (CPP) has played a crucial role in serving the foster care needs of St. By expanding its services to Washington County in 2020, CPP has broadened its r

each to ensure that even more children and families in the foster care system receive the support they need. CPP’s presence in these regions has been instrumental in addressing the unique challenges faced by children in foster care, such as the scarcity of permanent placements and the complex needs of families in crisis. CPP effectively accomplishes its mission of providing permanent placements through a combination of strategic partnerships, evidence-based practices, and community engagement. By collaborating with local agencies, social workers, and the judicial system, CPP works to streamline the process of the alternative care system for all families. This includes working closely with biological families to facilitate reunification whenever possible, as well as identifying and preparing adoptive families or guardians. Moreover, CPP is deeply committed to supporting both children and families throughout the process. This holistic approach ensures that families have the resources they need to maintain stability and provide a nurturing environment. By remaining actively involved with families after placement, CPP helps to prevent re-entry into the foster care system, thereby achieving its goal of creating lasting, positive outcomes for children in the regions it serves.

💙June is Reunification Month, a time to celebrate one of the most meaningful permanency outcomes for children and families.

When children can safely return home, reunification provides the opportunity for lasting connections, stability and a renewed path forward. Achieving permanency through reunification takes dedication from parents, support from foster families and the collaboration of professionals and community partners working toward the same goal.

At Children's Permanency Partnership, we believe every child deserves the security of permanent family relationships. This month, we recognize the strength and resilience of families who have worked to reunify and the many individuals who help make those permanency journeys possible.

Join us in celebrating Reunification Month and the power of permanency, connection and belonging.

Permanency doesn’t happen in isolation. It grows through relationships, shared commitment and people coming together around what children and families truly need.

During National Foster Care Month, we highlight what is true every day of the year: lasting permanency is built through partnership. When agencies, caregivers, families and communities work in alignment, children have more pathways to stability, connection and belonging.

We thank all of our partners helping us build brighter futures for children and families. 💙 Permanency happens through partnership. Not just during National Foster Care Month, but every month!

This Memorial Day Weekend, we pause to honor the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is not forgotten, and their legacy continues in every moment of freedom we are able to share with the families and children in our communities.

At Children’s Permanency Partnership, this weekend also reminds us of something deeply rooted in our mission: the importance of stability, connection and safe, loving homes. As we reflect, we also hold close the children and families we serve and the work being done every day to support lasting permanency.

We hope this weekend offers space for gratitude, reflection and time with the people who matter most. However you spend it, may it be filled with care, meaning and moments of peace.

🌿 Happy Mother’s Day to All Moms and Caregivers!🩵

During (and every day!), we recognize the love, patience and strength that mothers and caregivers bring to children’s lives.
