Today marks Sergeant Vidal’s first day back at Central Montcalm as our School Resource Officer for the 2026-2027 school year!

We’re excited to have Sgt. Vidal back in the halls, building relationships with students and staff, supporting a safe learning environment, and being a familiar, friendly face throughout the school year.

The Stanton Police Department is currently investigating an incident in which an individual unlawfully threw an object into an election ballot drop box.

We are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual and the vehicle depicted below. If you have any information regarding this incident or recognize the individual or vehicle, please contact us.

Today, we celebrate the freedoms, values, and sacrifices that make our country strong. This year also marks America’s 250th birthday, a historic milestone and a reminder of the generations who have served, sacrificed, and worked to protect the freedoms we enjoy today.
