Today we honor and remember the EMS professionals who are no longer with us but whose impact continues to be felt every day. Their dedication, compassion, sacrifice, and service will never be forgotten.

We encourage everyone to take a moment today to remember someone who made an impact on your life, career, or community.

Today during EMS Week 2026, we recognize EMS for Children Day.

Children have unique physical and emotional needs that require specialized training, preparation, and compassionate care during emergencies. EMS providers must adapt quickly to help pediatric patients feel safe and supported while delivering high-quality medical care.

Caring for children during stressful situations takes patience, communication, and the ability to provide reassurance not only to young patients, but also to their families.

Thank you to the EMS professionals who care for our youngest patients with compassion, professionalism, and dedication every day.

Today during EMS Week 2026, we recognize EMS Safety Day.

Safety in EMS goes far beyond emergency lights and sirens. Every response requires awareness, preparation, communication, and a commitment to protecting providers, patients, partners, and the public.

From safe driving practices and scene awareness to proper equipment use, mental wellness, and injury prevention, safety plays a critical role in every aspect of emergency medical services.

By focusing on prevention and preparedness, we help create safer outcomes for our crews, our patients, and the communities we serve every day.

Thank you to all EMS professionals who continue to prioritize safety on every call and every shift.

Today, during EMS Week 2026, we recognize Education Day.

Behind every emergency response is ongoing training, preparation, and a commitment to continued learning. EMS professionals regularly train in areas such as CPR, trauma care, pediatric emergencies, airway management, and advanced life support to ensure they are prepared to provide high-quality patient care when every second matters.

We are also proud to highlight the Priority Patient Transport Training Division, created to strengthen clinical education, hands-on training, and professional development for our providers and community. Through continued education and training, we help ensure our teams are prepared to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care every day.

Thank you to all instructors, preceptors, field training officers, and providers who continue investing in knowledge, skill, and patient care.

EMS Week 2026 begins with Health, Wellness & Resilience Day.

EMS professionals face physical and emotional challenges every day: long shifts, difficult calls, interrupted sleep, and the responsibility of caring for others during critical moments. Today serves as a reminder that taking care of ourselves and supporting one another is just as important as the care we provide to our patients.

Mental health matters. Rest matters. Asking for help matters.

Strong teams are built through support, resilience, and compassion for both our communities and each other.

Thank you to every EMS professional who continues to show up, serve others, and support those beside them.

“Improving Outcomes, Together”

Thank you to all EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, nurses, firefighters, law enforcement officers, and healthcare professionals who work together to provide care when it matters most.
