​What an incredible journey we’ve been on this week! To celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, our school took a trip around the globe with our "Destination Appreciation" theme.
​Every day, our amazing staff "landed" in a new location to find treats and treasures inspired by different cultures. We wanted to show our teachers that their hard work means the world to us.

Friday, we wrapped up our epic "Are You Smarter Than a Shark?" competition, and the energy was off the charts! Our brilliant 3rd–5th graders went head-to-head with some brave members of the Suffolk community (Suffolk Fire and Rescue, Commonwealth Attorney's Office, Sherrif's Office, and the Police Department).

It was a battle of wits, quick reflexes, and some seriously tough questions! While our local pros put up a great fight, our students proved that they are sharp, prepared, and ready to take on the SOLs.
