"The real story is the growing sentiment across the country: people are tired of living like this and are finally ready to push back hard"

Read the room, Abe. We're not sure how many of your voters are dumb enough to believe you, but thousands of your constituents have protested this year shouting "No Kings," not "Hail Trump."

Yesterday, Project Saltbox released Northwest Valley Indivisible's report about an aerosolized cloud of hydrochloric acid that would extend at least 2.7 miles, engulfing 73k people in Surprise or El Mirage at toxic levels.

Imagine 20,000 pounds of hydrogen chloride released at Sweetwater Avenue in Surprise, AZ.

A heavy cloud of hydrochloric acid rolls at ground level for 2.7 miles at toxic levels.

73,642 residents of Surprise and El Mirage affected.

542 immigrant detainees who can't evacuate.

It's not a "worst case scenario." It's a plausible operational risk that's outlined in Rinchem's risk management plan on file with the EPA.

More importantly, it's a human rights liability that Mayor Kevin Sartor and the City Council of Surprise have publicly ignored.

Rinchem’s own safety filings model a toxic plume that could reach more than 73,000 people, including schools, neighborhoods and the planned detention center.
