Park Hours: Sunrise to Sunset except in lighted areas and during permitted events. While Cascades Park is a storm water facility, it also doubles as a unique urban park, offering many outdoor amenities. These amenities include a state-of-the-art amphitheater, interactive play plaza, Discovery Garden children's play area, Smokey Hollow historic area and miles of multi-use paths for walking, jogging or biking. A water cascade played a central role in the founding of Tallahassee. The waterfall feature near the Meridian Plaza and Adderley Amphitheater pays homage to that piece of local history. This is one of many ways the past comes alive here in Cascades Park. All along the trails, you can learn about the history of Tallahassee and the Cascades Park area - from the days of its first discovery through the 1900s. Come visit this week!

We love seeing happy dogs around Cascades Park. Here are 5 tips to make your pup's park experience (and that of other park goers) enjoyable.
😎 Plan early morning or evening outings to avoid the heat of the day in Tallahassee's hot months.
🐕 Keep your dog on a leash at all times. There is no off-leash area in Cascades Park.
💩 Bathroom breaks on a dog walk are inevitable. Always pick up after your pup and properly dispose of the waste.
🫗 Water fountains are available around the park to help keep you and your pet hydrated. Bring a collapsible bowl to make it easier for your dog to drink.
🐾 Respect other dogs' and people's space. Likewise, always ask a pet owner permission before approaching their pup.
