Join us in celebrating Tanner Ferguson, a Paramedic II, Field Training Officer (FTO), PEER Support Team member, and newly certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCM)! For the past 4.5 years, Tanner has proudly served the Leon County community with dedication, professionalism, and compassion.
Inspired by watching his peers provide advanced patient care, Tanner pursued his goal of becoming a paramedic. Today, his commitment to excellence is reflected in both his role as a Paramedic II and his achievement of the Critical Care Paramedic certification, an advanced credential earned through high-level training and specialized education to care for critically ill and injured patients.
When asked what he enjoys most about EMS, Tanner says it's the people. He values working alongside coworkers who motivate him every day. His advice for those entering the profession: "Never stop learning, regardless of where you are in your career."
