September is almost here! Here are the first batch of events for September:
•Wednesday, Joint St. George/So. Thomaston Resilience Committee IO Team meeting, South Thomaston town office, 4pm
•Wednesday, Cemetery Committee, 4:30pm, downstairs meeting room
•Thursday, Conservation Commission, 4pm, downstairs meeting room

If you would like to join the Cemetery or Conservation meeting via Zoom, please email [email protected] with your name and physical address; we'll respond with the login info. Please have your request in no later than 3pm the day of the respective meeting.

A couple days ago a couple stopped in for a marriage license. When they came back to pick it up they brought us these lovely flowers. The bride's mom is growing them for the wedding. These were grown locally; aren't they amazing?! We appreciate them on the front counter, and trust you'll appreciate them if you pop in today. Happy Friday everyone!

•Monday, Select Board Meeting, 6pm, downstairs meeting room
•Wednesday, Open Space Committee, 4pm, downstairs

Also, the St. George Historical Society will be using our big meeting room for program by Select Board member Steve Cartwright on the ship Cora Cressey. That program starts at 5pm.
