Hydration: Critical to Recovery

For survivors and caregivers alike, understanding the importance of hydration can help support recovery, reduce symptoms, and improve overall quality of life.

And the good news is—hydration doesn’t have to be boring. From calming herbal teas to refreshing summer drinks, there are many ways to stay hydrated throughout the year.

With summer weather conditions returning and bringing high levels of heat and humidity, TBIRC will be open next week as a cooling center to help keep our community safe and comfortable.

We will be open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to stop in, cool down, and take a break from the heat.

Please help spread the word to anyone who may benefit from a safe, air-conditioned space during these warmer days. Stay cool and take care!

SNEAK PEAK: Survivor Returns to Racing

We’re thrilled to celebrate John Mills, a brain injury survivor whose determination and passion have fueled an incredible return to racing. John has even branded his race car—affectionately named Sherman—with the TBIRC logo, proudly carrying our mission with him on the track.
