Apologies if anyone thought our Trunk or Treat was today. The correct day is *OCTOBER 31**.

The Kansas Forest Service has awarded Stranger Township Volunteer Fire Department a 2026 Volunteer Fire Assistance (VFA) Grant of $4,999.

This grant allows the department to supplement the purchase of two Motorola radios used by our volunteers responding to calls and emergencies like rangeland fires.

We are greatly humbled by the financial support of the Kansas Forest Service and appreciate all they do for volunteer departments across Kansas.
