6 Reasons Why You Should Consider Using “I Prayed for You Today”, a new Lenten resource
1. It can be used in any congregation (regardless of size and/or ministry setting).
2. Its effectiveness is lay-driven and does not rely on paid staff leaders.
3. It is a simple way to involve more people in a daily prayer ministry, while, at the same time, involving them to reach out to others through their prayers.
4. It lets people outside of the congregation know that your congregation values people and the importance of prayer, as well as it shows them the kindness, compassion, and grace of God.
5. It is FREE (very "cost-effective"). It does NOT increase the church budget.
6. Although Lent is usually a time when people seek to deepen their spiritual practices, depending on local congregational circumstances, some people may choose to use this project at some other time during the year.
