Making a positive impact and growth for our members- a bright light on the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Housing Department-

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe - Housing Department turned a $1.5 million tribal investment into a $27.3 million housing development for elders by leveraging Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.

The 45-unit Two Yaqui Square project is the tribe's 10th LIHTC-financed development and the latest phase of a long-term housing strategy that has created 172 affordable homes for tribal members. Tribal leaders say the financing model allows them to stretch limited housing dollars, reduce the tribe's direct capital burden and continue tackling a housing waitlist of about 1,200 members.
