Oklahomans for Equality (OkEq) is headquartered at the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center located at 621 E. 4th Street, in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma 74120. OkEq proudly owns this 18,000 square foot building, which is the 5th largest LGBT community center in America. Neill, as the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center, who founded the organization in 1980 as TOHR now known as Oklahomans for Equality (OkEq).

Oklahomans for Equality is the leading LGBT community organization in Northeast Oklahoma that offers programs, services and a safe place for all who are seeking equality. OkEq’s daily operations are overseen by a community elected Board of Directors, Advisors and Trustees, who employ an Executive Director and small paid staff who direct over 160 weekly volunteers. There are many programs and committees to join that focus on our mission statement and OkEq is always looking for talented people in the LGBT community to become part of this great leadership team. This is a gathering rooted in the belief that 2SLGBTQ+ Tulsans have stories worth preserving, knowledge worth sharing, and neighbors worth knowing.

In partnership with The Fancy Hippie Group and Words of the People, we're bringing together Tulsa's 2SLGBTQ+ neighbors for an afternoon of creativity, connection and collaboration.
