We are reaching out to our amazing community for help supporting one of our Permanent Supportive Housing Program clients as they continue building stability in their new home.

We are currently in need of the following items:

🛏️ Dresser
🌀 Stand-up Fan
🌿 Garden Rake
🌱 Garden Hoe

Thank You, June Dinner Volunteers!

The staff, Board of Directors, and guests of the We Care Program would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible individuals and groups who provided meals during the month of June. Your generosity, compassion, and willingness to serve make a meaningful difference in the lives of the men we serve each day.

👕 WE CARE CLOTHES CLOSET NEEDS YOUR HELP! 👖

Our Clothes Closet helps provide dignity, confidence, and essential items to individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship in our community. Right now, we are in need of donations to help keep our shelves stocked.

Most Needed Items:
✅ Men's clothing (all sizes)
✅ Shoes and boots
✅ New underwear
✅ New socks
✅ Belts
✅ Jackets and hoodies
✅ Hygiene items

Every donation makes a difference and helps ensure that our guests have access to clean, appropriate clothing for work, appointments, housing opportunities, and everyday life.

🍽️ Dinner Volunteers Needed! 🍽️

We Care is looking for individuals, families, churches, businesses, and community groups to help provide dinner for our shelter guests on the following dates:

📅 June: 10, 12, 13, 17, 18, 21, 24, 26, 27, 28, and 29

A warm meal means so much to the men we serve. By preparing and serving dinner, you're not only helping meet a basic need—you're showing our guests that their community cares. Your generosity and kindness make a real difference every single day.

We are also excited to share that, for the first time in We Care's history, our shelter will remain open throughout the month of July! This is a huge step forward for our community, but it also means we need additional volunteer support. We are now accepting dinner volunteer sign-ups for July as well.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the vendors and community partners who participated in We Care’s Community Lunch & Resource Fair!

Because of your presence, resources, and willingness to connect with our community, the event was a tremendous success. Together, we were able to provide valuable information, services, and support to individuals while sharing a meal and building meaningful connections.

Events like this remind us of the power of collaboration and what can be accomplished when organizations come together with a shared commitment to serving others.

Thank you for taking the time to invest in our community and for helping make this event such a positive and impactful experience. We are grateful for each and every one of you and look forward to partnering again in the future!

The We Care Shelter is in great need of men’s clothes. All sizes. T-shirts, shorts, and underwear would be so appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at 219 S. Broadway, Turlock weekdays after 4pm. Please reach out if you need pick up at 209-606-9281.

Tonight, the men at the We Care Program-Turlock were treated to a wonderful dinner served by the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary, and we are incredibly thankful for their continued support.

It takes a special group of people to consistently pour into the community with such compassion and generosity. Your time, effort, and care do not go unnoticed, and our guests truly appreciate the warm meal and friendly faces.

Thank you for being such a valued part of the We Care family and for helping make tonight a little brighter.
